If earwax or dirt forms, what should you do?
When earwax collects, we call it earwax. In English, we call it ear wax. This is a normal thing.
Commonly thought of as dirt, ear lice are beneficial to us. It protects the inner-ear environment from germs. It usually comes out regularly on its own.
If there is a lot of wax in the ear and it is stuck tightly, then various problems occur in the ear. Then consult a doctor.
The symptoms that occur when wax is stuck in the ear are:
- Being unable to hear
- Experiencing ear pain and a sensation of blocked ears
- The feeling of buzzing in the ears even though there is no sound outside
- Dizziness and loss of body balance can be concerning symptoms.
- Nausea
Important Information
Never try to remove earwax with fingers or other objects (e.g., cotton buds). Because dirt gets inside the ear instead. As a result, the problem of acne increases and causes suffering. Many of us have this habit. We should stop this work from now on.
Use medical-grade olive oil to remove earwax or dirt. This oil is more effective and softens the ear wax easily. As a result, it automatically comes out of the ear.
Rules for using ear oil
The earwax falls out on its own. But if it gets stuck in the ear and keeps the ear closed, apply two to three drops of medical-grade olive oil or almond oil in the ear three or four times a day. Follow this method for three to five consecutive days.
Use a dropper to facilitate oiling in the ear. Tilt your head to one side for a while so that the oil can easily enter the ear canal. Applying the oil to the ear after waking up in the morning and before going to bed at night will make the procedure easier to follow. As a result, within two weeks, the dirt will come out of the ear.
Important information
Avoid using drops and oil if the eardrum is perforated.
When do you go to the doctor?
If home remedies do not resolve the problem, consult an ear, nose, and throat specialist. The symptoms that should prompt a doctor are:
- If symptoms persist for more than 5 days,
- If the ears feel blocked and no sound is heard, In this case, there is a possibility of infection.
